So how did he get out of the car before it went off the cliff again?

Sometime in between the car getting rammed and rolling over the cliff and blowing up, he miraculously escapes. He says something about it at the end, but i still don't get it

They showed a montage of how he did it, as he was knocked over the cliff, he opened the drivers door and rolled out underneath the car and then moved over to a rock to hide out the way.

The Russians were so busy watching the car they didn't notice him.

Exactly! How did he get out of that elevator shaft? And didn't we see him walk away from one of the burning vehicles after one of the accidents? He must be Superman and he doesn't realize it.

Once a couple of miraculous escapes were shown, they really didn't need to show us any more. We are just to assume that he figures out a way every time. The details are unimportant.
