When did you firt realize this film would be awful?

My first hint was when I realized it was only a PG-13. I knew right away there would be no cool violence. But then when I saw Liam take out half of the LAPD without killing anyone, I knew it was bad. A killing machine like Bryan Mills isn't fun when he's only knocking guys unconscious.

About the time it was announced.

When he picked up the bloody knife and didn't call 911 the minute he found Lenore dead. And then when, despite the evidence of Lenore having been abducted, the cops continue to treat Mills as a suspect.

Yup. That was the exact moment for me as well. Once you slug a cop like that, the rest of the movie is going to be the standard movie where the hero runs from the cops while solving the case. And then, somehow, at the end of the movie, all the damage and injuries to the police will be forgiven.

When I saw that it was the same TALENTLESS director that did Taken 2.

Actually this movie was a lot more enjoyable than I expected. I was reluctant to see it because I expected it to be a repeat of the first one, like the awful sequel, but this one was quite different and more like The Fugitive.
I didn't get tired of this one at least.

When I realised the second film was not too good.

Its that man again!!

The opening scene felt like something on Criminal Minds. In fact this whole movie I'd call a slightly better double episode of CSI or something like that.

When he started taking to the bear, it did not bode well. And speaking of wells, it was when he found the hole under the truck.
