I'm gonna give hollywood credit, they deserve this...
The first film, it was his daughter, I mean, what man wouldn't want to save their daughter from that situation? The second film it was a mixture of him and his wife, he was taken, I mean, he wanted to keep his daughter happy, so he couldn't have just left his wife right? Haha, you know, why would want your daughter to live knowing you just left her mom with men intent on revenge? Nooo, rescue the ex wife, keep the daughter happy in terms of having both parents... although, if it weren't for the moms abysmall job at parenting then we wouldn't have a Taken, oh man, that's another subject altogether... really.
So in this third one, the mom who left her husband who was out doing good, sending checks, and I'm sure he popped in... well I'll be a bit fair, we have no idea really how that went, ah, let it go, let it go, anyway moving on. His reasoning in this film is not just save the mom, but to also clear his name, evade his awesome chess mentallity pursuer that Whitaker played, and to protect his daughter from possible danger.
There was never a film where the priority was saving the wife. Good job Hollywood. Lmao. Oh man, the backlash, sometimes, thinking differently from the majority is quite interesting.
I'm on the last part, aww damn Hollywood, you didn't have Liam shoot him in front of his daughter, grow up already, all the *beep* she's been through, she's seen someone shot before. Meh! Whitaker and Liam were good!
