This movie did have some good ideas in it, you have to admit.

I mean a lot of talk about how bad this movie is, but for a Taken sequel, compared to the second it did have some balls.

Most sequels are not willing to kill off the main love interest that already carried two movies. And making Stuart the villain, I found to be very surprising, rather than repeating the same formula for a third time, with similar villains. Of course getting Dougray Scott to play Stuart didn't help though, since I see him as a villain actor cause of Mission Impossible 2. So I predicted that he might be indirectly responsible, and I was right. But I still applaud them for making him a villain cause it is a good idea.

The movie is weakened by some dumb ideas though, such as at the funeral, when the daughter is told to go get her favorite drink at the store, drink it, and then she has to go to the bathroom to puke it out, and then meet her dad in there. Why couldn't the guy at the funeral just tell her to meet the dad in the bathroom?

Can Bryan not fully trust the guy at the funeral, and the meeting place would have been too much information?

But I do think this movie has a good amount of positives too it and it's close to being good for a sequel.

What do you think?

As for the stuff at the funeral, it isn't not being able to trust the guy with the instructions, it is the potential--and in fact actual--eves-dropping of what was being said by him.

But even so drinking a drink and the going to throw it up was not necessary, and Brian could have thought of something less ridiculous. Or the guy at the funeral could have slipped Kim a note with instructions on it, if he was worried about being heard.

I suppose it was an attempt at being dramatic and suspenseful.
