Liam got his freedom taken away from him when he became a murder suspect, and Famke got her life taken away from her... Actually she WAS taken before that happened BUT we and the ppl in the movie don't find that out til afterwards on the surveillance cam
Appearantly Liam said that the only way he would do a 3rd one was if no one gets taken in it cause he thought it would be silly repeating the plot
Nobody reads books anymore! Movies are always better, especially sequels
I figured the only reason we saw Lenore being grabbed and driven off in a van was so they could justify still calling it "Taken". They honestly could have skipped all that, because her being murdered by a mysterious someone and left in Brian's apartment really didn't require a backstory of how she got there.
Did they ever establish why she was at that gas station "in the middle of nowhere" when she got grabbed? The plot was so muddled I missed the explanation for that, assuming there was one.
When Stuart came by Bryan's, he used Bryan's phone to send Lenore a text asking her to meet there and then deleted the text. And I guess apparently Lenore didn't even bother responding or questioning why they would meet at a gas station 'in the middle of nowhere' and went there.
shareAh, that's right. I remembered something about Stuart sneaking out a text from Bryan's phone, but the connection between those two things got lost in the garbled plot. Somewhere around the time it was revealed that the scary Russian gangster Stuart owed money to (and was terrified of) was somehow willing to be his patsy and do his dirty work for him.
There sure was a lot of stuff in this film that didn't make sense.
