But I’m not really up on my 1930’s history. Is Jack Nelson supposed to be a Kennedy? I think I recall from Boardwalk Empire that the Kennedy’s held the sole whiskey import license for the US.

that is what i am thinking. he was also a known fascist supporter.

Yeah, I think he’s loosely based on Joe Kennedy…but it isn’t an exact replica.
