I don't know if anyone's addressed this one yet, but...
...as a guy who's got a real appreciation for good looking women, I have to feel bad for the character of Adam in this movie. For, while David still made out really well in the aftermath of things, it seems that Adam got screwed over real badly. It makes me wonder if, given that faint glimmer of hope, Adam might still have been able to win over David's sister when all was said and done. I guess that will have to be left to the imagination.
