Seems to have magickal/occult meanings
In the kyballion, it states that will, the effect by which manifestation is created, is the balance of visualisation or intention, and asceticism, or detachment.
In this movie the perfectly detached can have everything, but get no joy from it, the attached bumble everything, and the perfectly balanced theo, works out the nature of the universe and becomes godlike.
I suspect this movie is not merely a fictional tale, but a vehicle for revealing what the writers feel is fundamental truth.
When it comes to the words, I am reminded of NLP, and subliminal programming.
Are we really free? I don't think we are at all. But our immersion in desire, and in our feeling of choices, prevents us from seeing further into what may come and what is true.
