This looks like an assignment for 3rd graders. At least the actors/actresses certainly do so. This is a B movie... Or a D, or a freaking F movie, if such a rating exists.
Do yourself a favor & go watch the Hottie & the Nottie if you want to see better acting.
P.S. I can't be bothered to write 10 lines of text for this to qualify as a review, so I'm posting this here.
Lol this movie was absolutely not terrible. It was BRILLIANT and beautiful. One of my favorites, what a gem! Up there with primer, donnie darko and slumdog millionaire!
I have an intense dislike of romance shows, but frequencies was well beyond any expectation I may have had. It's smart, at times funny, serious, cerebral, and most importantly interesting. I feel extremely lucky to have taken a chance on this film, which I probably would have otherwise glossed over without a second thought.
I completely agree with the idea that this is a brilliant hidden gem, and will definitely go on my list of "must see" films that I recommend to others.
I absolutely agree. It was charming, interesting, and different. It took a simple concept and gave it a unique perspective. Like most people that claim something terrible they are scarce on reasons why scarce on what they are looking for in a film. It was reasonable written, crafted, and acted. What most people who extol their displeasure don't understand that it is that is OK the movie they viewed is not of their taste or for them. Just because a movie isn't of their taste or for them doesn't make it terrible.
The only people that claim people are dumb for liking something are most likely DUMB people. I think the people that like this film are in fact SMART people because they can see it for what it is and not for what they think it should be.
To sum up, this movie was: Adequately filmed Adequately acted Adequately directed Adequately produced Adequately edited
There are SOOO many films that are less than adequate based upon those aspects.
"No talking from things that don't talk!" - Jaye Tyler
I tried to like it. I really did. But I ended up falling asleep during the middle of this film and didn't bother rewatching it. By the time I passed out I was already confused...
agreed! i cant understand the morons who like it......you know the kind....those dufus morons from school! every class had one. the acting and previous of these so called actors is laughable. i honestly could do a better job myself!
Or, it could be that only people with the higher frequencies like the film. That would be ironic, wouldn't it? Make a film that some people hate but others love, based on their frequency (I.Q.)
Some of these actors were able to act in multiple ways during this movie. The difference in frequencies requires different kinds of acting. It was brilliant. Perfect. The fact that you even believe you stand a chance here is "laughable".
But I'm sure you're enjoying the attention :)
Really, all people needs to do, is look at your profile picture. Enough said.
abuse about profile pic and you call me a troll. not very smart? you are the troll. look up the actors work what they have done and achieved. FACTS. dont reply go carry on trolling as you say. theres one botn every minute.
I call you a troll for one simple reason. You ARE a troll.
As for your profile picture - If you failed to understand what I meant, no problem, maybe one day you will :)
I might be a troll too, but not at the moment. I'm just clarifying a few things, that's all. I don't know where you get your information, but in this movie, the actors were great IMO.
Once again - Have a nice day, and have fun trolling!
you get funnier ex eastenders and casualty actors! you like the film wahoooo. i dont and i stated it. you dont know me so you cant say im not smart or this and that! you like the film with fact:BAD ACTORS...infact im sure you must work for them with all this bile aimed at me! if you liked it so what! tremors 5 is out,go check it out along with sharknado...see i help my follow imdbers with maybe what i could recommend based on this! good day, now stop wasting my time replying just stop. polietly please just go away.
The thing you're calling facts are nothing but your personal opinion. You can have your opinion, sure, but you can't call it facts just because you want it to be.
As for me saying, that you're not very smart. Well, I base that on your transparent, yet very strong personality. Maybe you are smart on an academic level, but that doesn't change your behavior on the internet. I might not know you, but trust me, I know enough. For the same reason, I classify you as a general internet troll, but hey, maybe you're just an unusually random person, which would disproof this theory. If that's the case, good for you :)
I enjoyed the movie and my opinion of the actors is that they indeed did good. That doesn't make them good in general, no, but at least I can tell the difference between an opinion and a fact. They are very different from each other.
As for being polite, you are the on who failed that part, I'm simply expressing my thoughts in a polite way. If you don't like it, feel free to use your own advice: "Politely please just go away"
totally agree apart from the fact these guys dont earn any money from acting! they are z-list and thats being kind its a fact get google out or watch shortland street or neighbours come on cheeko come on stop defending the taco bell advert crowd stop it just stop it
me neither! love you man hopefully if we met in real life we would actually get on, and get our points across without text speech. seriously have a good one.
It's always fascinating to observe, in the writings of people who claim to be smart, the frequency (no pun intended) of grammatical, spelling, and punctuation errors. I count 48 errors in the above post, alone, not to mention the other posts in this thread by the same author.
That's not at all an effective way to convey intelligence. Nor is the conflation of opinion with fact. But not one word of this will resonate, due to the Dunning–Kruger effect.
This is exactly the kind of response that I expect from someone who is incapable of watching a show where the intent isn't floating on the surface of the film. Your analysis is crap.
Spoiler....... I don't think it's terrible but it's annoying. Many writers do that thing when they can't make it interesting enough and have to tease you with unexplaned scenes and subplots, then change the subject and wait until the end to present a huge twist connected to the teasers. Right from the beginning we started noticing that Theo had something to do with the whole thing. They showed us a few mysterious scenes involving him but they didn't focus at all and although we knew that something was going on with him they kept changing subject until we completely lose interest in him...Then they gave us the twist. LAME story telling.6/10
I 100% agree, just watched this and felt wow what a great concept, then watched it completely fall off the rails.
The writer seemed to have too many things going on in his head at one time when penning this story, and subsequently couldn't decide on a path so he tried to take them all, which was a colossal fail.
I would liken it to a novice chef thinking adding everything to the broth would actually make it better, when in fact it turns into an indescribable pile of unpleasantness.
