I would think this would have a better rating. There is a lot to like about this film, one of the biggest is the chances they took. Nice to see people willing to step out of the norm.
This could have used a bit of tightening but I enjoyed it.

shareI really enjoyed this film. I was skeptical going in, almost didn't see it because of Sasha Grey. I thought she was used perfectly in more of a supporting role which played to her strengths. I usually don't like found footage films, I actually hate them and have been arguing that they should stop being made, but I was totally absorbed into this one. Maybe it helped that I spend a lot of time working online and sometimes watching movies simultaneously, so the concept really worked for me. I actually forgot that the action was taking place on a laptop or phone the whole time.
shareI did too. I watched specifically because the plot seemed interesting and because Sasha Grey was in it-I wanted to see if she can act, and I think she did real well in this. She may be coming into her own like Traci Lords did.
Too bad there is such hate on these boards for her. My advice to them is reeeeeal simple: Don't like her or her movies? DON'T WATCH THEM!
