Age Difference Between Kids and Parents?
I just could not accept that the parents, who are close to 60 and 70 years of age would have school-going kids. Just doesn`t compute, for me.

This is very common when older stars make movies - all is vanity.
shareMy dad was 42 years old when I was born and my mum was 29 so TBH nothing unusual in their ages at all. Your body doesn't stop working you know as soon as you are 30! There are many woman these days having children in their 40's you know and men even 60+ still conceiving! Maybe you need to get out more and find out what is going on in the world before making idiotic comments like that? x
shareBut it‘s obviously much easier to accept some of the decidedly far more unrealistic elements in The Family, hehe.
Maggie surely had to be the same as Michelle was in real life (as noted above, Michelle was in her early 50’s when she filmed this movie), which means that she had her high school aged kids when she was in her late 30’s or early 40’s. Doesn’t compute? Yeah, well that does compute for me (and for many who’ve had kids past the age of 40). Side note: Ms. Pfeiffer looked fine as Maggie.
