Why do people complaijn about racism?
Ramses the second and king Tut were redheaded. Now show me a ginger arab or black person. If you can't, stop crying about race.

shareStop lying.
They weren't red headed.
There isn't a wall painting that portrays either one as red headed.
Ramessess III and his sons had a haplogropu of e1b1a, which is found most commonly among black Africans, African Americans and is the haplogroup that I have as a black person.

King Tut had a haplogroup of R1B, which is found in different people around the world but originated in the Middle East, which can also be found in some African Americans and black Africans.
Nice link to Ramses the third xD
shareMalcolm X was a ginger and so was Red Foxx LOL. Either way it doesn't matter cause we already know for a fact Egyptians were not white.
shareAnd what ppl don't get is that Egyptians aren't black their middle Eastern looking. And to be fair all the drawings and paintings of the gods and royalty from back then showed them as green skinned and boned heads and random *beep* like that. So all the black ppl bitching that they casted not a lot of black ppl, check ur history facts and see who actually lives in Egypt, it's not blacks. I'm so tired of ppl complaining about this race *beep* If there aren't the skin tones ppl in it u wanted don't see it. Plain and simple. Why don't u actually worry about cops killingbunarmed black folks and not who's casted in a fantasy movie. There are bigger things to worry about. And we're all tired of the race card being pulled. Especially for fake *beep*

Egyptians are not black....?!
Dude.....
From my looking at ancient Egyptian art, the early Egyptians seemed to be a mixture from those who looked north African/Middle-eastern to black Africans.
Anyway, in major big budget movies from Hollywood studios Egyptian characters are almost never played by Egyptians.
Take the film The Mummy (1999);
The main Egyptian character, Imhotep, is played by Arnold Vosloo who is of Dutch, German, Swiss-German, Danish, and French, descent.
The Anck Su Namun character had an affair with Imhotep. She is played by Patricia Velasquez from Venezuela.
BB ;-)
it is just in my opinion - imo - 🌈
Black Africans are from sub-Saharan Africa, so is Egypt below the Sahara desert? No, it is not, in fact it makes up quite a bit of the Sahara. This idea that all Africans are black is a bit odd because it is an enormous continent with many areas, blacks originated in the rain forests and tropics of the equator, hence the derogatory term 'jungle bunny'.
Go to any desert and you'll find pale-to-tan skinned groups, go to any tropical region whether it is South America (Amazon), Africa (Congo) or Asia (Borneo) and you will find black groups because these areas although wet are hotter than any desert.
Blacks don't come from Africa, they come from the tropics.

Correct, Egyptians are not black. Somewhere out there, I seen a map that shows northern Africa as represented as "white". It was also in a documentary (I think one of the Hidden Colors documentaries), same as the other Mediterranean countries.
And regarding blacks in movies, the black population (at least in the U.S.) only make up about 12%. That's just 1 person in 10. This movie had several ethnicities represented in a country that was supposed to be made up of brown skinned people. You won't hear any complaints from me as this was just a movie.

Every person that served can be called a veteran, but not every veteran can be called a Marine.
ancient egyptians have always looked brown red skinned for me.
there is an ancient painting that portreys their difference from the Nubians, who were actually black.
I have mixed ethnicity. Native American. I'm fully aware this isn't high art but there are so many great Middle Eastern and North African actors that should have been used here. The casting here is just silly. It reminds me of the screenwriter quote from Noah (2014). When asked about the lack of diversity in that film he said...“You either try to put everything in there, which just calls attention to it, or you just say, 'let’s make that not a factor, because we’re trying to deal with everyman'." That is pretty messed up to me. I would love to see a real "everyman" film based on real world demographics. 20% Chinese, 17% Indian, 8% Middle Eastern, etc. A film like that would irritate all the right bigots.

Yeah...I know right. Like all those old Godzilla movies. Whats with all the Japanese, and especially the Japanese military and air forces. We know that if the movies had any accuracy, the military would have all been Americans!
Seriously, all you race hustlers and snowflakes need to get a life.
