The story was bad, the acting was bad, and the director was bad. Pure Crap !

You really don't have a clue if you think The Jungle Book and Zootopia deserve to be mentioned in the same bracket as Gods of Egypt. Gods of Egypt was inept. The former two films I mentioned are far from inept.
Was this your list for worst pictures or best? I am thinking worst since the original post said it is worst of the year but your list has a few movies that can hardly be considered worst.
shareAgreed! Too fancy. Looks more like a video game than a movie. A horrible movie meant for children. If the actors and the directors meant this to be viewed by a general audience, then Mr. Butler and all the other respectable actors who made appearance have lost direction.

the pacing was rushed at some parts (for example, when Jamie Lanister
reluctantly gave the man-cub the bejeweled bracelet-- there should have been a pause there;
he should've looked conflicted for more than half a second, which is what we see--if I were giving the mortal
my deceased girlfriend's bracelet, it would move me for at least a few seconds).
This movie has both plot and character development.
Leonidas was blood-thirsty, so I did not like him at all.
I think many of the low reviews come from Christians
who watch the film and suddenly realized that their religion wasn't as original or unique
as they thought. I guess they missed the part in the Bible where god mentions other gods.
And one more thing..
The thing I hate more than anything
on imdb is reading everyone's signature.
It was really bad but it harkens back to that Clash of the Titans movie that came out in the 80's, which also featured some really terrible effects. Both this and that aren't good films, but at least they don't bore like ones that try to make themselves serious, like that Clash of the Titans remake.

I agree this movie is horrible. The human walking around with Horus was atrocious.
