It's a...ummm...one of those...um...B movies for our time. It's not dreadfully horrible..it's not fabulously good..it's eye candy. In 20 years..it'll be like Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger..

Honestly, I can't begin how to tell good CGI from bad.
My problem is 70% with the script, 30% acting. If it's supposed to be camp, the actors should look like they're having a lot more fun than this crew does.
Straight on about if it was camp and meant to be bad. It would probably be a hell of a lot better! 😀

This was 'Scorpion King' bad. Not to mention the movie dragged on so long I had forgotten Gerard Butler was in it when his character suddenly came back into the story! I guess he really needed a paycheck. At any moment I expected his character to shout,"This is Sparta!"

The CG was so bad most of the time. The fact that the gods were bigger than the mortals really made it hard for them to do anything that looked somewhat real, at least because of the way they shot it. All the cg was too clean and the suits that horus and set "wore" were really obviously cg. Compare this to any marvel movie and the difference in cg is stark.
