It did very good in its limited release so they are going to release the movie to other cities. It was in 4 theaters and it made 100,000 bucks. So it looks like it it will be a while before it ends up on cable. I live in Houston I doubt it will have wide release in the south.

Luckily the film opened well in LA and NY, so they will go ahead with the other cities. The only southern city on the list is Atlanta (Washingon D.C if you want to count the capital as well). The news reports state that depending on the film does in the expanded cities, they will release for more cities for the Memorial Day weekend.

I'm sure that Austin or Houston could be included in the wider release. Keep your fingers crossed.

I saw it this past weekend.

Thanks for heads up. I will keep my toes crossed too.

According to this news post, the film will be released in Dallas on 5/9 first than in Houston on 5/16

Great that is only next week. Thanks.

I just saw this movie today in Washington, DC. Great turnout and response from the crowd. I absolutely loved it. Wanted to go see it last weekend but was in DC with the parents. I'm glad to see that it wasn't just shown for a week.

It's been playing for two months in New Haven, CT.

It's time to move to a real city like Los Angeles or New York City. That's my two cents.

This movie was originally scheduled to play in one theater which shows art and indie films near me. Now instead, it's playing in four theaters. I'm surprised by how popular it is.

We just rented it from Dish Network, and I think it's also available on Amazon Prime.
