Using sailing ships on skis to cross the dry land of the Fold ?
Propelled by one Squaller forcing a modest amount of air into a single, smallish sail ? Nah I don't think so.
It's a fantasy show so you have to suspend disbelief when watching the show. Storm of the x-men had control of the elements so it's not unprecedented. I played dungeons & dragons and there are many spells that manipulate the wind. Movies are full of fantastic feats. James Bond is always pulling off some unrealistic stunt.
