I haven’t read the books, but one of My coworkers did and loved them.

I really liked the first episode. It was definitely confusing at times, as I was learning the “world.” But so much of it came together by the end.

Looking forward to watching Episode 2.

I really liked it too. I haven't read the books but my partner has. He said the show is really different from the books but he was still enjoying it. I've watched 2 episodes so far.

I can tell they are leaving a lot out from the books though, as I guess is always the case with fantasy, so I intend to read the Grisha trilogy now.
