After watching it again...

I can't believe how bad the acting was. And considering how much I liked Cabin Fever and the Hostel flicks, I wouldn't say that picking bad actors is a common theme for Eli Roth. But for this film, the horrible acting performances are just undeniable and sometimes downright cringe worthy. It would've been a vast improvement with a better cast. I can't emphasize how bad the acting was.

And as in for the plot itself, there were certain aspects of it that had potential. The whole idea of a group of social justice warriors being held captive by a cannibalistic tribe was interesting. But the story eventually falls short and goes into some very goofy directions. Like getting the entire tribe stoned...that was lame. This whole film was one huge missed opportunity.
