I'm confused about the cast...

Maybe someone can clear this up for me, as it seems to not be addressed anywhere else.

Everything I've read about this movie claims that Eli Roth used local tribal natives that he came upon while scouting shooting locations for the movie. In the trivia section, it makes the claim that all tribe members were in fact natives of this tribe, and were so far removed from modern entertainment that Eli Roth had to bring them a television to watch because they didn't understand the concept of a "movie".

But then I came upon this guy, Ramon Llao, who plays the main headhunter in the film. Why does he have acting credits dating back to 2010? What am I missing here?

This next past is taken directly from IMDB's trivia page, and seems to contradict itself completely.

"The Bald Headhunter and The Tribal Leader woman are in fact portrayed by the actual members of the tribe Eli Roth had encountered in scouting the Santiago rain forest area of the Amazon. The Bald Headhunter is portrayed by Ramón Llao, who had collaborated with Roth previously on Aftershock (2012), and Antonieta Pari portrayed the Elder. Noted also that the principal cast of victims beset by the Elder, Bald Headhunter and the rest of the tribe apart from Kirby Bliss Blanton, Magda Apanowicz and Daryl Sabara had previously appeared in Aftershock (2012)."

Huh?
