Eli Roth Animal Friendly Cannibal film

Green Inferno is just okay compared to Cannibal Holocaust and Cannibal Ferox but unlike those two no real animal deaths. Thankfully! A huge reason it's hard to watch the others is bc of the animals. I still watch them but animal friendly versions. Less depressing :)

Indeed. If it is okay to hurt or kill an animal for entertainment, then it should be okay to hurt or kill people for entertainment too. It’s only fair. Besides, it would drastically reduce the special-effects costs.

Hmm, I swear I saw a line saying something like “no animals were harmed… Eli Roth is for the ethical treatment of animals” earlier today before watching the movie, but I checked and it was definitely not in the movie itself. I can’t figure out where I saw that line. 😕

agreed too

This wasn't made in Italy circa 1980 so its a moot point.

I think Roth is like us for the most part: he appreciates classics, but feels bad about the excesses that led to real harm and death coming to consenting parties during the making of films like Cannibal Holocaust.
