Ridiculous *Spoilers*
Cameras as guns. Nope. All those men with guns had to do, was walk up to the activtists in chains pointing phones at them is walk up to them without guns, get others to hit them or shoot them with their gun not being filmed--and destroy the phones. Boom done. Nothing can be streamed. They might even just be able to walk rihgt up to them and take the phone and destroy it and still not get in trouble. I dont buy that they are that threatened by a live stream in another country from a tiny activist group from a college in masks.
Her being saved at the end like that. Um....so first they wanna shoot her? Then she THROWS THE PHONE DOWN, he picks it up and sees it wasn't a threat and all of a sudden shes okay to go back to the US because the phone she showed him which he never even looked at to see if it was streaming that also was destroyed was a phone and apparently phones save all in this film.
A bag of pot wont make an entire village high.
None of them would have survived that plane crash.
It's annoying and stupid any of you think Justine actually told them they were nice and don't realize that was part of the dream at the end. Shes talking to them and telling them they were nice they helped her and her friends, etc etc, the minute she walks out of that room Alejandro is running after her and she looks like a monster and goes to bite him then wakes up. The entire thing was a dream. It's how her brain is dealing with the trauma. How she described it in the dream in the interview is how she wishes it went down, and her biting Alejandro was her hatred towards him for all of it. Think about it------- if she really lied wouldn't they have been asking where the eff her friends are?
No way a group of college students would risk their lives to save some small village in the Amazon. Theyd risk getting arrested but getting killed? The suspension of belief from literally 6 scenes in was overkill.
What an awful ridiculous film.
