Wow Why is the Tribe laughing at this? (Spoilers)

A woman that is of the protesting group that got captured has the terrible thing of having a crap rush, she goes to the bathroom inside the Prison to avoid craping in her clothes.
While her group of associates prove to be understanding the Savage Cannibal Tribe laugh at her embarrassment and misery.
With kidnapping followed by the savageness of the cannibalism plus genital mutilation My hatred of the Savage tribe is freakin high , and to my surprise it got freakin higher with the damn Tribe laughing at a woman's misery and embarrassment.

This is 1 tribe that you aren't likely to feel any pity when they get killed fast by a group of loggers with Sub machine guns, the tables turned and they were owned like that of road kill.

Only a child member that helps Justene escape is the only tribe member that is likable.

The scene really did come off more comical than anything. And I'm almost certain the tribe was actually laughing at how terrible the movie was going to be, lol. Wow I bet if the tribe actually realized how awful this movie was they'd sue

I doubt they could successfully since he gave them a idea with Cannibal Holocaust of what this movie would be.
It's not like he was responsible for endangernent of other humans.

They are laughing because the director was trying to demonise them as much as possible.

The tribe thought the protesters were the logging company and saw the plane crash as an act of war; the language barrier didn't help things. Their actions felt justified in their minds.

Even the initial act of cannibalism felt more ceremonial than simply vicious.

They weren't entirely cruel, either. For instance they gave the main girl and the douchey guy special treatment and offered them positions in their society; not sure why they singled them out, but still.

In fact, I don't think they singled them out at all. Think about it:
-Many of the protester died in the crash.
-One protester was shot with an arrow, likely by mistake or in an act of confusion/stupidity in part of the shooter, seeing how everyone else simply got shot with darts.
-One protester was killed and eaten in ceremonial/religious style.
-One protester was killed after trying to escape, but apparently was not eaten, even though her skin was used as ornament.
-One protester killed herself.
-One protester was killed and eaten after trying to escape, but only after the natives had gotten high and apparently without approval from the warchief or the head priestess.
-One protester was circumcised but was apparently going to be groomed to be a part of their society.
-One protester was killed by ants after trying to escape.
-One protester was left behind and allowed to assimilate into the society.

Going by what happened it looks as if most of the group met their fate by trying to escape, and could have otherwise remained unharmed. Not sure why the main girl wasn't killed for escaping, either; the head priestess simply seemed to like her.

To the original poster, you answered your own question. They laughed at her because of her misery and embarrassment.

Who got circumcised? They must have left that out of the HBO version. Also, you think Alejandro was made a part of their society? They should have left the "in the credits" part out. So stupid!
