How was Chloe Moretz in this?

I want to see it, but it's not playing near me. How as Chloe in it?

She was very good! It's a character I haven't seen her play before. Very dark and sexualised. She did a great job and has a big role in the film

Then I take it this the first time you saw her in a movie.

I can't stand Moretz. All of her work is just bad, she's one of the worst young actresses working today. It kept surprising me how she was still getting work and I didn't like that she got a role in this. I liked the book and when I finished it, I felt more positive towards Moretz. This could be her role to convince me she can actually act. And you know what? She did. There was perhaps only one moment where you could see in her eyes she wasn't fully into it but elsewhere, she was pretty good!

War, what is it good for?

You obviously haven't seen her in kick ass or Carrie. She's a brilliant up and coming actress. For he age group probably one of the best.

I honestly thought she was very bland, but I'm definitely biased because I read the book first. IMO, in the book her character felt a lot more twisted, violent and dark, which I think they tried to convey in the film, but it just didn't work for me.

I'm not a fan of hers. I thought she was boring and over acted instead of conveying the emotional intensity of the role. She may grow into a better actor, but she needs more training.

She was great but her role would have shined more if this was a better movie

Her performance was fine, but not particularly memorable. The standouts were Charlize and Christina Hendricks.

How does she keep getting work?
