I hadn't heard anything about until I saw the DVD advertised so it appears to have bypassed the cinema here completely.
shareI know! I had heard they were making this film and having read the book was waiting to see something about its release. Now about 18 months later I've just seen an advert on tv for the DVD - don't even remember it being at the cinema at all! Maybe it was straight to DVD but I would have thought having Charlize Theron and being Gillian Flynn would have at least given it a fairly high profile release.
I mean I think I enjoyed this book better than Gone Girl, so I'm more interested in seeing this film (Gone Girl film was average at best despite some massive hype)
It appears this went straight to Amazon Prime. And after watching it I can see why it was never released to theaters.
