Mayday Season 2
So when does Season 2 start - I want some answers to finish off the first season?
So when does Season 2 start - I want some answers to finish off the first season?
I didn't really understand the ending -help!
shareare they planning for season 2?
shareI think this was a self contained 5 part serial.
I doubt anyone wants to watch a second series of a village which has not one nice person in it.
Its that man again!!
There will not be a S2, this was a one-off drama. The story has been told me thinks. It was slow and arty at times but last nights moved with speed and was rather good.
shareI would just like to know what happened to Seth. It would have been nice to have seen some sort of remorse or respect for him.
You are not a human being, Lola, you are an epidemic.
I agree, I was just about to post the same question, what did happen to Seth?
And what happen to Linus's dad and how was that evidence lost?
Seth was killed by Hattie's father after her memorial - his brother took Hattie's father to him after his outburst at church. Based on the amount of blood, I think they want us to believe he did not survive the attack.
His brother, Steve, did show remorse for him, so I think that's the end of that. Remember no one really knew they were brothers and Steve probably saw his death as a relief.
I think they tried to resolve everything.
Not a bad series though - reminded me of the original Forbrydelsen.
I think it's far more likely the blood was Hattie's father's. Seth - the bad Seth - would have pulverised him. Hattie's father was old and out of shape...
shareI guess it's all open to interpretation. Hattie's father was not that old though - probably a guy in his 40s as most of the parents were. He was grief-stricken so that could have made him appear much older. Anger and rage does a lot to a person.
Also, Seth was not really a bad person - his mental illness was mistaken for something else. He was misunderstood.
I just watched that scene again - I downloaded it - and her father was enraged and not weak at all. The scream we heard after the second blow to the head was Seth.
Also, right before he discovers the blood, there was a scene of him and his son's mother. When she refused to go back to him, she said it was because he kills what he loves. I felt that was a premonition of sorts.
I'm going to sound like a curmudgeon but please can we stick to 'Series' instead of 'Season'. We're not Americans yet.
Ta.

It is not just blood. There is a tooth in the blood. Steve recognized it. The scene between Steve and his ex-wife is not just a "premonition of sorts", the line about killing what he loves is what sends Steve looking for Seth. He knows that he has put Seth in danger.
shareHow on earth could that remind you of Forbrydelsen? Where was the 50% which was politics? Duh.

What does that say about you? You make a statement which I challenge you on and you fall back on insults? What a stupid cünt you must be, never mind any kind of tool in a box.
Why don't you just tell us why you were reminded of Forbrydelsen?
No pleeeeeease don't encourage them - just let it fade away like the instantly forgettable borfest it was.
shareI am not sure did i miss it or it wasn't said.
But why did that police woman frame it on Linuses dad?
What did he do to her on 1st may of... whenever she said it was?
She knew it was her own husband who was responsible, but as she said, "Nothing is more important than this family. Nothing."
I didn't much like it as a resolution; we're supposed to believe that she was okay with her own husband abducting and murdering a young woman as a ritual, just so he can have sex with his wife again? That's appalling.
You might very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment.
I would also like a season 2! This show was great
