Can't explain why but I've never been able to tolerate anything about her, since I first saw her in the St. Elsewhere TV series. So to see her in the lead role in this new show is disappointing. Hopefully the show and writing will be superb.

I used to like Thandie a lot (from Mission Impossible II), but I found her very very annoying in Rogue.
I think that's the character. Grace is very off-putting. I'm indifferent about Thandie Newton the actress, but I don't really care much for Grace. I like the show but watch it for the characters other than Grace.

Funny that you are posting about her being on St. Elsewhere but didn't bother to do a fact check while on imdb. Thandie was never on St Elsewhere. I'm guessing you meant her role on ER?? People who dislike actors because of a role they played are ridiculous. You weren't supposed to love her on ER because of the way she kept John Carter at bay. SMDH
shareI totally agree because for instance, Grace is not a overly likable character. She is a flawed individual. She is not suppose to be all rainbows and sunshine when her young son was murdered and the people responsible are still living it up.
