Not the best ever but among its best. I'm astounded by the hate this is gathering but I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.

And yet, I'm still able to be objective about DC & Marvel movies. Maybe that is because, unlike you, I don't spend any time at the men's room glory hole because I'm not a fanboi.
Also, TDK and TDKR were way over-rated. Batman was a joke in them - knows 7 different martial arts, but looks like a brawler who can only fight one guy at a time. The greatest detective - who has his Butler do his detective work. A genius in creating things - who has a guy who works for him actually invent the things. Did Nolan know ANYTHING about the character?
Batman Begins had a good start, but then they fell flat with the other two.
Man Of Steel was pretty good, and I actually liked it more the second time I saw it.
Marvel has the BEST Superhero Trilogy of all time. Iron Man. No question about it. However, Cap is all set to take the title early next year.

its was awful. bruce and natasha romance was forced and made no sense. Ultron was the worst villian ever. watching the trailer i tought that we will see some despair, a scary powerfull villian. instead we got an whiny little bitch thats spitting stupid one liners at the worst moments possible. they made ultron a clown, a friggin joke. my dissapointment was even bigger then when i watched 300: rise of an emprie. i will never forgive marvel.
