My one big problem with this (SPOILERS)

My one big problem with this was the casting of Pat Healy as the main character. At the beginning of the movie we see him as a normal family man, but as his need for the movie becomes more and more intense he's willing to do more of the things asked of him which results him him completely losing his mind.

The thing I didn't like was that he does an extremely good job of looking crazy, so it was too easily believable to see him become crazy at the end. I would've liked to see someone like Clark Gregg have been cast because I've never seen him play a crazy character, so I think it would have made the transition look a little bit more unexpected.

I can see your point but in one of the conversations we get the idea that he used to be more like his friend but grew out of it. So he probably had some wildness in him already.

I never got that idea. I got the sense that he hung out with the "tougher" or "cooler" kids, but that he wasn't really one of them. Vince says something about how Craig used to get beat up every day and that is was Vince who saved him.

My problem was that the character was modelled too much after Walter White from Breaking Bad: family man, wearing glasses, loses his job at a garage, will do anything for money to provide for his family. The other character, Vince, had a touch of Jesse Pinkman.

The character of Vince did have a similar traits and appearance to Jesse Pinkman.
I liked how Pat Healy played the role of Craig, just a normal guy that morning then Bam! What a day. Then the actor who played Colin, David Koechner, I have seen several times before and have enjoyed his style and acting performances in the past. But, In this movie I felt the need to say Bravo to that person as he really was awesome on this movie, Cheap Thrills. He was funny and comedic and very good at acting. All the actors did very well and I am going to watch this movie again.
I enjoyed this movie very much.
