I'm not sure if any amount of money could get me to cut off my own finger. It's not even the thought of living the rest of my life without it, it's the thought of having to live with the memory of actually cutting it off.

I don't think there's any amount of money that would erase that trauma of going through that experience.

Oh, it could definitely be worse. But that's kind of my point. The finger seems somewhat innocuous, yet the actual act of having to cut it off, through bone, would be a lot more traumatizing than people think.

depends. i have had some horrible surgeries, so if i could just cut off my pinkie, which is basically good for nothing and get 2 millions in return, yeah why not. most likely i have been through more terrible pain. if it would be slowly with a knife, yeah i might hesitate. on the other hand (no pun intended), in the movie they surely had would have had a hacksaw in the kitchen.

2 mil sounds about right if there's lots of drugs to help me get through it lying around as the characters in this film had. Otherwise I want 5 mil.

Sure a lot of people would do it for two million dollars.

But Craig and Vince were offered 25,000. Not even close to two million.

If I was on as much stuff as they were, I'd probably do it for $25,000. My dad said he'd do it for $2,500.

Hmm. It would depend on the circumstances. I'd definitely do it for something six-figure. Do I get to reattach it afterwards?

What I found funny was how reticent they were about eating the dog. I'd take the dog-eating over slicing body parts off, personally. In fact, I'd eat almost anything for a sizable sum.
