The girl in the bar.. the guy looking at her ass/chest.. That was worth 100 bucks per..

The game ended with a 50 dollar bill. "I was sure my guy would win."

They valued the "competitors" lives as less than some guy looking at a girls ass.

Seemed really meaningful to me.

The money involved in the betting between the married couple was simply symbolic. It was a game they played, and money only changed hands as a technicality, really.

Like monopoly money while playing a board game....
