I literally just saw this movie, and I enjoyed it quite a bit.
As I was watching, I thought "Would I do this...?" Here's what I think:
I was thinking I would do everything up until they did the thing with going to the bathroom at the neighbor's house. I was like "I'd probably do that..." I'm not 1000% sure, but I might have. Then I would draw the line at cheating on my wife. I wouldn't have done that no matter how much he paid me. And then MAYBE I would have eaten the dog meat (it didn't seem as disturbing to me as it did to them), and I don't think I would cut off my pinky (let alone eat it) and I know for a fact that I wouldn't kill my friend.
well. if i was ready to kill my buddie, then i could just as well kill the couple instead and split the cash with my buddie, so that he helps me get rid of the bodies. most likely the couple would have hidden even more cash and own unlimted credit cards and valuable items.
so, lookink at it from this angle, it was terribly stupif from him to cut his finger off and kill his buddie.

You really don't understand the psychology of this movie at all, do you? The two guys were 'teamed up', fairly early on in the film, when Vince suggested the robbery. And as soon as they were offered the chance at competing for this money, both immediately decided to play along instead. It was fairly clear, throughout the entire story, that there was no way these two were ever going to actually be on the same page.
I *was* surprised that he didn't turn around at the end and kill the couple, though. That's the ending I'd have gone with, myself. Just seemed like it would have been a slightly more fitting end. That being said, I did LOVE that ending shot of Craig holding the baby, all bloodied up, standing over his victory winnings (literally, his blood money). Very cool visual.
And I was simply sharing my opinion that the logic of your 'answer' was flawed. Nothing more, nothing less. I don't believe my tone was insulting, but it seems that you've interpreted it that way, considering your fairly aggressive response.
Is there no such thing as an intelligent discussion on the internet anymore? Does everything really just turn into this base arrogant tone you seem to be so fond of in this and your other comments?
Hey man. Ignore this guy. He is an obvious troll. He's visited most of these discussions in order to whine and spread his personal discontent with the film and belittle anyone who doesn't feel the exact same way as him. The definition of a child. You've got to wonder, if he dislikes the movie so much, why he chooses to spend so much time tearing down others who enjoyed it. Like it's some kind of personal vendetta. Maybe the movie raped his mother.
I wouldn't let the game go that far. Once the $250k is out in the living room, I would try to kill Colin when his back is turned, martial arts champion or not. Since I have already killed someone, I may as well kill my buddy too, just to be sure he won't be pulling a fast one on me. Then it is time to have fun with Violet.
I am surprised Colin didn't kill Craig in the end and take back the money.
