Did not like the sister on rewatching this movie.

I had a completely different take on the character of the sister as an adult when I rewatched this movie. I think she was extremely selfish and manipulative and CRAZY. Her little brother never got a chance at life because of her. He gets out of a mental institution with the chance of having a new beginning and life. It really plays out that she just doesn't even care about him and pushes him over the edge. The ending just leaves you thinking he would have been so much better off telling her to go to hell and running. He was young. Even with starting out with absolutely nothing he could have had real life and success.

Did anybody else watch this and get that impression? I didn't feel that way the first time watching it.

This was all part of the plan... She didn't do anything, it was the mirror.

nah she was away from the mirror though it loses its power after awhile it didnt go into effect until they got into the house and moved it in

She told him he could leave whenever he wanted. I think you missed the point of the movie.
