Spynet Ultra Vision Goggles.

It's a kids' toy! I have a pair of these goggles that I had just bought for my nephew at our local thrift store for $8.

It's nowhere near as powerful as what you see in the movie. It's a low-resolution pair of electronic binoculars that lets you video record what you are seeing. However, it does optionally superimpose these funky targeting graphics over the view through the lens like they showed in the movie.

The coolest thing about this toy though is that it has a functioning night vision mode that really works to let you see in total darkness. Two IR lights on either side of the lens provide the illumination. Completely invisible to the naked eye, but look through the bino/camera and everything is visible in green, just like all those high-tech military goggles that you see in the movies.

Switch it to another setting and you can see in "Predator"-vision where blurry colours reflect the different temperatures of the environment. It's actually a very fun toy that could have some practical applications.
