This was my pick for worst film of 2016. I did not laugh or smile even once during this film. "Dirty Grandpa" was awful, for sure, but at least I laughed once or twice during it.
"Joneses" is perhaps the most unoriginal, uninspired, laugh-free comedy in years. It seemed like a stale, familiar mash-up of several much better comedies, minus any of the wit and creativity. Did the voters just not see this?

Patton Oswalt was on Comedy Bang Bang recently talking about his "very big role" in an upcoming movie. All I remember is that he said he played "Scorpion" and was a bad guy. The only laugh I got out of this was his bragging about being in a "big film" when it turned out to be THIS movie. I love how everyone in Hollywood or in acting whatsoever think everything they do is "big".
I wasn't that impressed with this movie. Barely watchable.
