Stomach Scars

In episode 1 of series 2, the blonde chap who works with Milner visits her near the end and lifts up his shirt to reveal a recently made scar. I didn't really understand this. Was it to do with the Mr Rabbit scar?

Incidentally, the opening of the last episode was filmed in my local bus station!

Yes, it was to make people think he was Mr Rabbit.

If you remember in series 1, James Fox's character had the scars on his stomach to make everybody believe he was Mr Rabbit. The young blond guy in S2E1 was the younger version of him (as Rose Leslie was younger Milner).
