That Babs Broccoli and Mike Wilson are looking for the next James Bond. Get a jump start on pre production for the next film. No reason to wait until No Time to Die is released and start the search in 2021. But I doubt they are that on top of things and Babs will try for 2 years to get Craig to come back.
shareI've been saying for a while that Craig will be back again. People are way too gullible. The truth is that if you read and listen very closely to what Craig and the producers have been saying for the last couple years, it seems like the door is very much open to Craig coming back again. My theory is that NTTD will not properly wrap up the storyline of the past few films and it will do poorly with critics and at the box office, so that will lead to Craig coming back one more time to "get the sendoff he deserves." There's no way NTTD is the final chapter of the Skyfall-Spectre saga, even if they went into production with that intention. Whatever they planned for it or not, Craig will be back yet again, and "this time it will be personal." Again.
shareEven back when Moore was waiting to the last minute to come back as Bond in For Your Eyes Only and Octopussy, producers were still able get these movies out every other year, stayed on schedule. Craig is gonna fart around for a couple years, announce he will be back in 2022 and if we are lucky get another Bond in November of 2024. Craig will be 56 by then and will be in Roger Moore A View to A Kill territory in terms of looks.

As for me, I just want to see No Time to Die first. That’s all that matters to me right now when it comes to Bond.
Try to get Craig back? Seriously doubt it. But depending on how things go with this film, I wouldn’t mind it. Unlikely to happen but it’d be cool ;)
