I guess they thought it was a cool scene but theres a good chance they both end up in the hospital or dead, he could've just grabbed them and brought him....ok, ive turned into one of those people...sigh

yeah I know we're supposed to think that but with everything that has to work in that scene....wong has to overhear them first, then Will has to lose all the early bets, wong and margot both have to see #55 (wong was programmed to pick up on it but margot could've easily missed him in the moment, just seemed to be pushing the limits of reality
shareWill didn't have to lose all the early bets, he just had to lose a couple in a row at some point. He would have made bets with the odds less in his favor until he got where he wanted to be.
