Peter, I think its more because parents don't want to talk to their kids about sex. Why did that guy punch that other guy? Fine. Why are those two people rubbing together under the sheets? No way. Americans are famous for hypocritical, puritanically violent outlooks. Which doesn't mean I am assuming the OP is American. Just that statistically, Americans are the ones concerned about the sex and not the gun shots.
