Totally agree, how much money do they put into all those 55's all over town. Some one get a budget. Why would she pick the one guy they know???

exactly, plus considering that the odds of her guessing the right number were a hundred to one, how did that guy not know he was getting conned.

The plausibility of the story pooped its pants during the Super Bowl. What kind of super-grifter falls for that kind of setup? You can smell the con like a full diaper.
