Oh my god was this movie boring. It had that CBC movie of the week feel to it. I can't believe it was nominated for an Oscar.

Why did I find it boring. The acting seemed very one dimensional and the directing made this movie very CBC movie of the week-like (You would know what I mean if you are Canadian).
I watched this movie because of the setting and the story line, but it was very slow moving with uninteresting acting.
Of course someone who would have liked it would see something different than me, but that's my opinion.
