I just watched this movie and I enjoyed it. As a sports fan what's strange is at the end I thought of how happy Tony must of been when they finally won the World Series in 55 and then how heartbroken he must of been like the rest of Brooklyn was when they left for LA after 57.
shareFunny you should mention that because I was a big Dodger fan in the 1950s and 1960s, my dad was a Yankees fan. We would listen to games at night together, rooting for different teams. I was heartbroken when they moved to Los Angeles, but my happiness returned when Sandy Koufax had a banner year in 1965, winning game 7 of the world series in one of the best pitching performances ever.

You waited too long. Weren't you happy when they swept the Yankees in the 63 Series? If I'm not mistaken Koufax struck out the side in the first inning of Game 1 on 9-10 pitches.
