There is a whole alot of nothing going on in this movie.

Don't get me wrong. The main actress is not bad looking but there is a whole lot of nothing going on in this movie. Literally all that happened was she went to America, found a guy, went back to her country and found another guy, and then went back to be with the guy that she was with. Within 1.5 hours, this is all that happens. I mean it's nice I got to look at her ass for a while but cmon. A whole lot of nothing happened in this movie and I would not have watched this just to stare at her ass.

Actually quite the opposite, there's quite a lot going on. But I can see from your comments on other boards that you rarely have anything positive to say about any movie. It leads me to believe that you don't know how to watch and appreciate good stories. Too bad about that.

Well, that's because every movie follows a same repetitive generic plot-line. It was not bad though for a drama/romance movie. I really thought Saoirse was gonna *beep* Dominic and I was upset at what a bitch her mom was. I guess I had too high an expectation for the movie coming in. Every time, I watch this kind of movie, I feel like it's DeJaVu, like I watched the exact same movie many times before.

Well, that's because every movie follows a same repetitive generic plot-line.

Well, stop watching movies. You won't have that problem. Also, stop listening to music, reading books, watch television shows, looking at artwork...stop going outside. A lot of the same outside. Don't watch sports. Same thing every time they play. Is the guy going to hit the ball? Throw the ball? Run? Swim? Flip? Not flip? So generic.

All of it.

You seem to like "The Bourne Identity". Couldn't one say that's "generic"? Ever seen "The Long Kiss Goodbye"? Both main characters are amnesiac assassins. Both trained by the CIA. I mean hell: Brian Cox played the same role in both films.

There's nothing original about the Bourne films that you love so much. It's all generic.

But I feel your pain. A movie with no car crashes, bangs or explosions is hardly worth our time, right?!

I have to agree. Nothing really happened.

My brother and I watched the movie together and he was asking me all the time: will something else happen?

It was disappointing.

Wait for the sequel: BROOKLYN II: Rose's Revenge! The IRA comes to Brooklyn, and there should be enough shootings, car chases and things getting blown up real good to hold the attention of even the Dumbest Generation!

It was indeed quite uneventful. Nicely acted and shot, but ultimately uneventful.
