Why do people like Blofeld so much?
Sure he's 'iconic'. But he's a rather bland character with little backstory. And when they tried to give him one, they failed miserably... You really can't do much with such a character tbh...
shareWell, I really like Waltz and both my boyfriend and I just LOVE his (German) voice, the voice alone makes him cool no matter the role.
But we both thought Waltz was kinda wasted in this role... Blofeld was indeed a bland and boring character, they tried so hard to make him look cool that it felt ridiculous.
I also didn't like how forced Blofed's connection with Bond felt, it just wasn't necessary, I'd have preferred if they had just made him a regular bad guy.
