Waltz Should Have Stayed w/ Tarantino

If you ask me Waltz was the least effective character in the film. Considering the importance of the part, that was unfortunate. The problem starts with his seeming loss of his germanic accent, which I think would have served him well here. Somehow he lacked a far more sinister tone needed for the role. Since the movie came out around the same time as the Hateful 8, I'm guessing he might have lost out on role in that flick. He would have been well cast in the role played by Tim Roth in my opinion.

I thought that he was speaking with his (native?) German accent. I thought that his portrayal of Blofeld was like Donald Plesance's in You Only Live Twice. And that's not a complaint.
