When she was on the payphone trying to talk to her fiancee, did she mumbles "I can hear you"? For moment she seems relieved but how can she hears him? I'm thinking it was just to make the scene more dramatic.
shareI thought when she had the spirit enter her body, it made her able to hear but her fiancé still thought she was deaf. I thought that was why she turned on the radio in the barn and was acting like that- because she was able to hear for the first time...?.
shareyeah, it seemed she could hear once the spirit entered her and it took her awhile to get used to it.
