NA members cannot drink alcohol just as AA members cannot use drugs ..

Drugs are drugs. We cannot even use cough syrup or mouthwash if it contains alcohol.

This is true. I had to go to NA and was told that I couldn't drink because it would start me using again: I ignored this advice and ironically they were right (which was very annoying!).
