Only scene worth watching (Spoilers)

This movie is pretty slow throughout most of the movie, but what saved it for me was the exorcism scene towards the end. That entire scene was one of the best I've seen in awhile, but other than that I thought it was too dark and boring. Are all houses in New York this disgusting as portrayed in the film? I found it funny the family with the rotting painter in the house had a similar dark, dank and disgusting look to it as if they hadn't cleaned up in months. Just fast forward to the exorcism.

Yep all the homes in one of the richest cities in the world are completely disgusting. No one knows why.

I have to disagree. The exorcism scene was pretty much the same as countless others. A priest commands the demon to leave the possessed in Latin. Things get loud, the demon leaves, the end.

Please explain to me how it was different than any other exorcism scene?

I get what you're saying but I thought when he was screaming and vibrating at the same time, it looked pretty awesome!

What I thought was kind of cool was that Mendoza could actually chant the prayer and sound good doing it. Most Catholic priests I know can't chant prayers in English to save their souls, let alone in Latin.

lol OP...then you havent seen very many exorcism scenes or movies in your life cause this one was laughable bad...like a bad parody of exorcism scenes...there are really good exorcism scenes and movies out there but this is not one of them...

I've seen plenty of exorcism movies, and I said the scene in this movie is one of the best that I have seen in AWHILE. I didn't say it was better than The Exorcist or any iconic movie like that. Honestly D.U.F.E was a ho hum movie, but the exorcisim scene got my attention.

The daughter soccer scene was the best.
