MAJOR SPOILER: A Secret Unreleased Alternate Version of This Movie

In an alternate version of this movie, Butler, the character played by Joel McHale, survives the fatal wounds he received in the theatrically released version.

Butler is visible in the final scene of the movie wearing a blue shirt and standing behind Sarchie and Jen, the married couple played by Eric Bana and Olivia Munn, as they hold their newborn Daniella during her baptism. In the alternate version of the movie, Jen--the wife--walks downstairs and you see two men wearing suits on her left, one wearing a tie and the other without a tie, http://i.imgur.com/HCyXZ1O.png.

In the theatrical version, the scene abruptly cuts to a closeup of the hands of Mendoza--the priest http://i.imgur.com/gqrk9Ve.png to hide the reappearance of Butler who survives in the alternate version, http://i.imgur.com/chBSMV6.jpg. The audience is then shown an overview of the attendees at the baptism; noticeably missing is Butler and the two men wearing suits from the alternate version. However, now visible for the first time in the background is an entirely different and previously unseen character wearing a blue shirt and standing in place of Butler.

I don't believe this alternate version is included or discussed on any DVD; this is just something my hyperactive eagle-eye noticed. It's however nice to know that Butler at least survived in this secret unreleased version.
