cop cliches, relationship cliches, dialogue that makes you cringe, the most rigid and lifeless acting I've seen in a while - story has nothing that stands on its own. Who gives this film anything above a 4?

shareThat good OP is a good question...i got fooled by this rating and wasted valuble time on this lame crap...should have watched scary movie 2 instead cause its the same type of movie but scary movie 2 is way better.

Agreed one of the most poorly made films I've seen. Like you said cliched to hell, wooden characters I didn't give a monkeys about and downright boring! The dialogue had us laughing even the camera shots were laughable like the overhead when they walked in the zoo. Really disappointing because I thought Sinister was pretty fresh and decent.

It really didn't hold my interest. At the hour point, I occasionally clicked the remote to see how much time was remaining because it dragged so much. This felt more like a bad TV series episode than a theater release.
