I called it.. She is a total backstabbing, two face biatch and this new episode proved it ... Hoping she's right alongside Eleanor when judgement comes her way .

Hey, that's true. Even with Max's betrayal, it's always mostly in the interest of peace. Even her attempt at a citizen's arrest of Silver was just to hide him and then ferry him away.
(How the hell did four trained men lose to an old guy and a cripple? Where'd she get her goons???)
We'll for one he's Israel hands a major pirate.. Two... I don't think she was expecting a fight.. Just to take him and keep him safe... I think fandom has always hated max and treated her unfairly for decisions that most sane people would make.. Except to me when it comes to Eleanor... She's a fool for that girl.

That old guy is clearly a tough old git. You don't live that long without being a cunning, dangerous sob with a bit of luck thrown in for good measure.
The men she had with her expected no trouble and underestimated who they were dealing with. Yeah Silver and the scarred old guy were outnumbered, but they fought what looked like a bunch of rookies. All the real fighters from Nassau are either with the pirates or dead.
That 'tough old git' was Teach's second until Vane took his place. Silver also said that Flint described Israel as one of the deadliest men Nassau ever knew. Except for maybe two or three people, everyone on the island would be a rookie compared to Israel.

Let's see... The crew of The Ranger beat and raped Max for how long? And they murdered Eleanor's father. It's not surprising that these ladies would rather side with England.
Unlike Richard, Eleanor has always done her best to clean up Nassau and keep rapists and murderers from prowling the streets. She was most interested in keeping the peace as well, in season 2 she tried desperately to prevent a war between Flint and Vane. She did not want the fort damaged. She wanted to make sure Nassau had a means to defend itself from an invasion.

I think Max just wants to be done with all this *beep* Hell all she wanted in season 1 was to run off with Eleanor with some gold and live a happy life for once. Though everyone wants this damn revolutionary war.
The main thing that bothered me is how they failed to kill him. Like I'm sorry....you have multiple men with GUNS on one guy. How do you mess up a fight that bad, I was rolling my eyes so hard XD
